The Economic Development Board (EDB) for Tacoma-Pierce County has announced its annual list of Top 10 economic development projects and investments during 2014.
The list includes Bass Pro Shops, Boeing, Garfield Station, James Hardie Building Products, MultiCare Health System, Portside Business Center, Sierra Pacific Industries, South Sound 911, Toray Composites, and the University Y Student Center.
The list was announced during the EDB’s annual meeting on Wednesday at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center in downtown Tacoma.
Similarly, the 2015 Golden Shovel Award was presented to the Port of Tacoma and the Port of Seattle for their Seaport Alliance partnership.
