Do you dance, sing, play an instrument or provide other forms of entertainment? The City of Tacoma needs your talent for the 2006 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration. The auditions, which are open to all ages and ethnic groups, will be held Sept. 24 and Oct. 8 at Clover Park Technical College, Building 8.

The selection committee is looking for talent in the following areas: vocalists (soloists, duos or groups), dancers, percussionists, dramatic interpretations, instrumentalists, fashion shows and skits. All performers must follow the theme, “His Dream – Our Dream.”

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration will be held Jan. 16, 2006 in the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall and is a free annual multicultural event that has taken place since 1988. The celebration will be broadcast and replayed numerous times on TV Tacoma.
