The staff at Job Carr Cabin Museum in Old Town Tacoma will host four walking tours that highlight local history.
The first tour will begin at 11 a.m. on Sat., May 14, and focus on immigrant influences in the Old Town neighborhood. The second tour will begin at 11 a.m. on Sat., June 11, and focus on Tacoma’s first working waterfront. The third tour will begin at 5 p.m. on Weds., July 13, and focus on Tacoma’s frontier days (after the tour, visitors may enjoy a TREOS summer concert in Old Town Park beginning at 6:30 p.m.). The final tour will begin at 5 p.m. on Weds., Aug. 17, and focus on Old Town in the early 20th century (after the tour, visitors may enjoy a TREOS summer concert in Old Town Park beginning at 6:30 p.m.).
All tours are pay-what-you-can and begin at Job Carr Cabin Museum, located at 2350 N. 30th St., in Old Town Tacoma.
