Starting this week, the Lumpia World mobile kitchen will be providing lunch service at the north end of the UW Tacoma campus every Monday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Lumpia World has been featured this summer at the downtown Tacoma Farmer’s Market. With the market shutting down for the season, Lumpia World has set up shop on campus for the winter.

The truck serves lumpia — a fried pastry similar to egg rolls — with a variety of fillings in addition to specials that change regularly. Hearty soups (or sopa) are also available.

The truck sets up near 17th Street, between the Dougan and Joy buildings and across the street from Tollefson Plaza.

Lumpia World will be on campus at least through mid-March.
