Harold Moss will lead the Pierce County Council for an unprecedented third consecutive year following a unanimous council vote Tuesday, Jan. 13. The 2004 leadership team also includes Kevin Wimsett, vice chair, and Terry Lee, executive pro tem.

2004 will cap a remarkable career for Moss, who also has served as Tacoma’s mayor and as a city councilman. He will serve the Washington State Association of Counties as immediate past chair. In that role he will make a presentation in March in Washington, D.C. aimed at bringing the National Association of Counties Western Interstate Region conference to Tacoma in 2005.
