On Weds., Nov. 9, the City of Tacoma, Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce and Go Local will co-host a Pacific Avenue wayfinding update and idea gathering open house from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The open house, which will be held at the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber (950 Pacific Ave., Third Floor), aims to present the wayfinding conceptual design and gather input on destination listings and information to be provided on kiosks. The Pacific Avenue streetscape project will include a new streetscape design intended to help attract new business to downtown Tacoma and incorporate innovative stormwater management practices.
