The Port of Tacoma has announced it will host its annual breakfast on Tues., April 24 between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at Hotel Murano, located at 1320 Broadway Plaza in downtown Tacoma. According to a statement released Monday, the Port is poised to launch into the future with a new look and new direction. Attendees will learn about a new strategic plan that aims to set the course for success in a highly competitive industry and be among the first to see the Port’s new brand. The keynote speaker is Peter Tirschwell, senior vice president of strategy at UBM Global Trade and Journal of Commerce columnist. He will discuss current industry trends and prospects for the future. The Port will also recognize its Summit Award winners. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Seating is limited.
