Ruston Way will be closed to regular traffic from 5 a.m. on Sat., July 4, to 1 a.m. on Sun., July 5, in order to help ensure public safety during Freedom Fair, Tacoma’s annual Independence Day celebration wrapping up with a fireworks show over Puget Sound.

While emergency vehicles will always have access, community members may experience delays getting to private driveways, parking lots, garages, sidewalks, walkways, or alley ways. Road closure signs and marked detours will be in place throughout the area.
