Tacoma City Councilmembers are scheduled March 23 to hear the first reading of an ordinance that would continue the Business Improvement Area (BIA) in downtown Tacoma for the 23rd year and would provide for the levy of assessments, approve the work plan, budget and assessment of rates from May 1, 2010, through April 30, 2011.
