Tacoma Farmers Market organizers have announced they will present “Banquet of Bounty,” a new fundraising dinner that aims to connect the community to local farms.
The dinner will be prepared with local ingredients by chef Matt Stickle of BITE Restaurant and will showcase the area’s vibrant cultural and agricultural heritage. The fundraiser will also include locally-made desserts, which will be auctioned off, and a wine wall of Washington wines available for purchase.
Proceeds from the event go toward keeping vendor fees affordable for all farmers and producers, and to provide funds for market capacity-building.

A no-host cocktail hour begins at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person and available online at brownpapertickets.com/event/273500.
