The Tacoma Public Library is preparing to launch a new library catalog and circulation system on Weds., Oct. 24. In order to train staff on the new system, library branches will be closed as follows: Kobetich and Moore Libraries, Tues., Sept. 11 through Thurs., September 13; Mottet Library, Tues., Sept. 11 through Thurs., Sept. 15; Fern Hill Library, Tues., Sept. 18 through Thurs., Sept. 20; South Tacoma Library, Tues., Sept. 18 through Sat., Sept. 22; Swasey Library, Tues., Sept. 25 through, Thurs., Sept. 27; and Wheelock Library, Tues., Oct. 2 through Thurs., Oct. 4.
