Tacoma Community College will host its annual job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 27 in the Opgaard Student Center, Building 11, on Tacoma Community College’s main campus. Parking and admission are free.
Attendees can meet a variety of employers offering full-time, part-time, internship and temporary positions. “We look at the Job Fair as creating an opportunity to become employed,” said Paul Felker, employment security representative in Tacoma Community College’s Job Assistance Center.
More than 50 employers and hundreds of community members and students are expected to attend.
Two workshops will be held during the event. Interviewing Skills will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. in Building 17, and The Hidden Job Market will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. in Building 17.
Job Fair attendees are encouraged to come prepared with a resume and/or portfolio, and dressed in professional attire.
