City Council members are scheduled during the July 31 study session to receive an update on the Puget Sound Regional Councils (PSRC) Vision 2020 plan and to review the draft of Vision 2040. Vision 2020 is an integrated growth management, economic and transportation strategy developed by PSRC to help direct future growth in the region. Council members are also scheduled to receive a presentation from the United Way of Pierce County about a comprehensive plan to increase the quality of early childhood education and development in Pierce County.
The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, Room 16. Replays of the study session audio may be heard Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on CityPost (Channel 21 on Click!, Channel 77 on Comcast).
