The Pierce County Department of Community Services is seeking new members to serve on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, an advisory body to Pierce County government on the allocation of taxes collected on lodging in unincorporated Pierce County. The committee is seeking volunteers who are interested in promoting increased tourism throughout Pierce County.

At monthly meetings, members representing the lodging industry, tourism industry and general public encourage and promote activities to increase tourism, evaluate funding applications and make recommendations for allocating lodging tax dollars.
