Members of the City Council are scheduled Dec. 4 to hear the first reading of three ordinances that would amend and revise several codes pertaining to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulatory Codes including designating the McKinley Neighborhood Center, the Narrows Neighborhood Center and the South 34th St. and Pacific Avenue Community Center as three new mixed-use centers; modifying the boundaries to nine existing mixed-use centers; a motion to expand the Narrows Neighborhood mixed-use center southward; and allowing for limited winery operations, and reclassifying the zoning for various areas that are proposed to be removed from existing mixed-use centers.
