Critical Areas Preservation public hearing scheduled for Feb. 6

The Tacoma Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Weds., Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. for the proposed 2008 Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance. The purpose of the public hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to comment on proposed revisions to the City of Tacoma’s Critical Areas Preservation Ordinance (CAPO). The proposed revisions to CAPO include standards and regulations for fish and wildlife habitat conservation areas, including buffer requirements for marine shorelines.
