For the past five years more than 35 DUI and traffic safety emphasis patrols have been dedicated to persons killed or seriously injured in an alcohol- or drug-related car crash.
The Tacoma-Pierce County DUI Task Force hopes to continue dedicating the patrols to crash victims and is asking the publics help in identifying individuals to whom future patrols might be dedicated.

The monthly patrols are coordinated by the Tacoma/Pierce County DUI Task Force and supported by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
