Members of the Tacoma City Council are scheduled at the March 9 study session to hear a presentation from Tacoma Water on the options, costs, benefits and risks of an upcoming filtration or ultraviolet light water treatment decision. As a second item on the agenda, the Community and Economic Development Department will present an overview of the department’s goals, budget and services. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
