Sound Transit will host a contracting opportunities outreach program from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, June 18, at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main St. SW in Lakewood.
Attend the session to:
– get information on upcoming construction and consulting opportunities;
– hear presentations from South Sound Boardmember Claudia Thomas, Sound Transit representatives and the major public works projects managers in Pierce County and the central Puget Sound area;
– talk to representatives from regional and state resource organizations, including the Small Business Administration, the Washington State Office of Minority and Womens Business Enterprises and Northwest Minority Business Council; and
– learn about contractor and vendor registration with the various public agendas.
