This Saturday, Office Depot will host its 10th Annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast at its retail store in Tacoma. The event is held each year to recognize and honor teachers for the hard work they do every year.
Hundreds of teachers, as well as Office Depot representatives, are expected to attend the Tacoma breakfast.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Aug. 16, at Office Depots retail store in Tacoma at 3330 South 23rd St. Store manager Chris Geary will serve as host.
Last year approximately 100,000 teacher and administrators throughout the U.S. attended the breakfasts.
The goal in hosting these breakfasts is to provide teachers a welcoming atmosphere in Office Depot retail stores, an opportunity to network with their colleagues, but most importantly to thank them for their commitment to educating Americas future: children.
Star Teacher Program.
The new program is designed to give back to teachers. Teachers can also begin receiving instant savings of 5 percent off school supplies once enrolled plus 15 percent off all copy and print services, including photocopying, binding and laminating. Once enrolled, teachers will receive a Star Teacher ID card in the mail, which is not a credit or charge card, but a card that provides teachers with savings year-round whenever shopping for supplies at Office Depot retail stores.
Tools Teachers Need.
All current Star Teacher members and new enrollees will receive a 10 percent discount on purchases made the day of their breakfast. Teachers will receive Office Depot tote bags with useful gifts while supplies last.
