Tacoma City Council is scheduled to participate in a budget discussion next week to establish a budgetary and fiscal baseline, set service delivery priorities and the fiscal policy, and discuss specific policy areas having potential impact to the 2013-2014 biennial budget. Due to the anticipated length of the presentation and discussion, city council’s regularly scheduled committee of the whole meeting has been canceled.

City council will not take public comment during the noon study session on Tues., June 19, which will be held in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
