Drivers traveling along Interstate 5 through Fife today may notice fire and smoke pouring out of a roadside building. According to Tacoma Fire Department and Washington State Patrol officials, a vacant building located at 1623 62nd Avenue East is being used as part of Tacoma Fire Department’s live smoke and fire ground operations training.
