The Port of Tacoma has released its winter issue of Pacific Gateway magazine, the twice-yearly publication that highlights Port of Tacoma trade and transportation developments, activities, customers, and the local community.

The new issue features Port of Tacoma security officer Marty Kapsh, who has been a member of the security team since 2000 and trains responders locally and internationally on Port of Tacoma security and emergency management; results of a recent simulation piloting a 13,000 TEU vessel through the Blair Waterway; the recent relocation of breakbulk operations to the East Blair One terminal in an effort to provide Port of Tacoma customers with a state-of-the-art facility; and a partnership between the Port of Tacoma and the City of Tacoma to fix Port of Tacoma Road.
