The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber has announced the finalists for the 2014 Spotlight! On Business Awards.
The annual honorific recognizes Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber member businesses that have set the standard for exemplary business practices in seven categories: small business (1-25 employees); medium business (26-50 employees); large business (51+ employees); non-profit organization; minority-owned business; veteran-owned business; and supporter of the military (sponsored by Harborstone Credit Union).
The field of finalists was narrowed down to 35 from a list of 70 nominees.
The recipients of the 2014 Spotlight! On Business Awards will be announced during a luncheon ceremony on Weds., Sept. 24, between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., at Hotel Murano, located at 1320 Broadway Plaza, in downtown Tacoma. Event sponsors include Business Health Trust, TAPCO Credit Union, Harborstone Credit Union, Harry & David, Clear Channel Outdoor, and the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber.
