The City of Tacoma is holding a Safe Routes to School Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 5 –7 p.m. at Lincoln High School Auditorium (701 S. 37th St.).

A partnership between the City and Tacoma Public Schools has formed to develop a comprehensive program for K-12 students. The intent of this program is to empower students and parents to feel comfortable walking or bicycling to school through education, promotional activities and infrastructure improvements to increase safety.
