Dive-In Movies, New Special Events and Special Savings
Federal Way, WA (May 2, 2017) – It’s time to warming up those vocal cords and prepare for a screaming good time at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park. The park opens this Saturday, May 5 and will be open every weekend through May 20. Washington’s largest combination theme and water park is ready to roll with The Wild Thing and Timberhawk Ride of Prey coasters, the return of Dive-In Movies, and new special events like “National Hot Dog Day” and “Hula Nights”.
In 2018, guests will discover more than just 70 acres of rides, slides and pools to celebrate plus new great events:
· Memorial Day and Labor Day “Heroes’ Weekends” featuring free tickets for military and first responders
· National Hot Dog Day on July 21 with contests and lots of creative ways to dress up your dog for some yummy eats.
· Splash into Summer Party a kick-off to pool season with a weekend long celebration of hot summer fun in the Water Park June 22 and 23
· Hula Nights with free hula lessons and cool music throughout the summer
· School Supply Drive August 3-12 to support local children in need the park will collect new school supply it4ems and donate them to Title 1 schools.
· Last Call for Summer a fun family party Saturday, September 8
The water park also welcomes many improvements including three new food locations, new walkways, new shade structures, renovated rest areas, more deck space for lounging, and colorful new Adirondack chairs.

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park opens for 138 days of fun beginning May 5 and will be open weekends until May 20. Starting May 26, the park will be open daily through September 3. The fun does not end when kids go back to school; Wild Waves Theme and Water Park will also be open this fall for Fright Fest in October and in December for Holiday with Lights.
