Action on Ordinances
Proposal No. 2004-29s, adopting a new Section 3.76.045 of the Pierce County Code, Active Duty Differential Payment, providing for differential pay and continuation of health care benefits for county employees called to active federal service.
Proposal No. 2004-52, implementing the 2003 Comprehensive Plan amendments, correcting technical errors and making substantive and technical changes to the development regulations, including reorganization; repealing Chapter 18A.25, Zone Classifications and Use Tables; creating new Chapters, 18A.17, Pierce County (outside community plan areas) Use and Density/Dimension Tables, 18A.22 Frederickson Use and Density/Dimension Tables, 18A.23 Gig Harbor Use and Density/Dimension Tables, 18A.28 Parkland-Spanaway-Midland Use and Density/Dimension Tables, 18A.29, South Hill Use and Density/Dimension Tables, 18A.31, Upper Nisqually Use and Density/Dimension Tables and 18A.33, Zone Classifications; amending the Pierce County Zoning Atlas; amending Title 18B, Pierce County Development Regulations-Signs; amending Title 18J, Pierce county Development Regulations – Design Standards and Guidelines; setting an effective date; and adopting findings of fact.
Proclamations, Appointments
Proposal No. R2004-85, proclaiming the day of Saturday, June 26, 2004, as Tacoma Highland Games Day in Pierce County, Washington.
Proposal No. R2004-84, confirming the appointment of one new member to the Pierce County Landmarks Commission (Grant Sulham).
Ordinances
Proposal No. 2004-27s2, amending Chapter 10.24 of the Pierce County Code, Parking, to provide for impoundment of illegally parked vehicles on narrow streets in small lot developments; and setting an effective date.
Resolutions
Proposal No.R2004-83, declaring its intent to vacate a portion of right-of-way for 170th Avenue KPN, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 22 North, Range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian, in the Key Peninsula area; and directing the County Engineer to examine the intended vacation and report the findings and conclusions thereof to the council.
Proposal No. R2004-87, amending Resolution No. R2003-139s to initiate consideration of additional amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations in the Special Comprehensive Plan Amendment cycle required by Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 36.70A.130(4).
