City Council members approved two resolutions March 29 that will give multi-family housing limited property tax exemptions for two large apartment developments in the Tacoma Mall Mixed-Use Center. Both developments would be built by Apex Apartments, LLC, in the 2400 block of South 41st Street. The first apartment building will consist of 160 market-rate apartments, and the second will hold 75 market-rate apartments.
