“The Tacoma City Council is seeking volunteers with an interest in other cultures and in promoting international understanding and goodwill. Volunteers will serve on Sister City committees for:- Kitakyushu, Japan- Vladivostok, Russia- Alesund, Norway- Davao City, Philippines- Fuzhou, China- Kunsan, Korea- Kiryat-Motzkin, Israel- George, South AfricaSister City committee activities and issues range from art and culture to education, music and dance, health, government, sports, trade, business and tourism. The Council will select committee members.Citizens should indicate which committee theyre interested in and apply no later than November 1.
