Members of the City Council are scheduled Aug. 30 to consider a resolution that would allow an interim agreement with the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts for continued management through Dec. 31, 2005, of the Citys performing arts buildings the Pantages Theater, Rialto Theater, Theatre on the Square and the Jones Building. The $75,206.62 agreement would be paid for through the Theaters Fund. It is anticipated that a new management structure for the performing arts facilities will be in place at the beginning of 2006.
