The City of Tacoma seeks a volunteer citizen to become a member of the Audit Advisory Board. Once the appointment is approved by the City Council, the new board member will serve a two-year term. The board will hold a minimum of four meetings per year. To qualify for appointment to the Audit Advisory Board, applicants must possess knowledge of government performance and financial auditing, public administration and government financial practices. Applications must be submitted to the Mayor’s Office by Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006.
