Chamber will recognize downtown leaders May 3

The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber and Absher Construction will recognize four achievers for their ongoing role in improving tomorrow’s downtown with the third annual:

— Ghillarducci Award
Recognizing successful new development, renovation or beautification

— Popham Award
Recognizing the individual that has done the most to build “community spirit”

— Union Station Award
Recognizing leading organizations, companies or individuals that have built or sustained momentum for revitalization

— Schoenfeld Award
Recognizing exemplary performance (and pizzazz!) as a retailer

Nomination forms are available online at http://www.tacomachamber.org . Download the forms and recommend an individual, business or organization you believe is particularly worthy of merit and submit your nomination no later than Friday, April 14.

Winners will be recognized during the quarterly City Center Luncheon on May 3 in the Tacoma Club located on the 16th Floor of the Wells Fargo Plaza building at 1201 Pacific Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
