A resolution on the May 9 agenda would express City Council opposition to federal cable legislation that would limit the Citys management and control of public rights-of-way, eliminate local cable franchising and reduce City revenue from the private use of public rights-of-way. If approved, the resolution would urge members of the House congressional delegation and other members of Congress to oppose any such legislation.
