The High Wage Career Program presents the “Women In Trades Show” in Tacoma this Monday.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the King Oscar Convention Center in Tacoma, at 96th Street and Hosmer.

The event – which promotes women in construction – is being held for the first time ever in Pierce County.

The event will feature various exhibitions, recruiters, a fashion show, hands-on demonstrations, special guest speakers and refreshments.

The High Wage Career Program touts construction as a high-paying career opportunity for women, as well as a great way to stay in shop while on the job.

The High Wage Career Program is a subordinate unit of the Pierce County Central Labor Council.
