Do you wonder what it’s like to be a Mac user in a PC-dominated world?
This Saturday the local radio and Webcast technology show, WebTalkGuys Radio, will talk with Mac Design Magazine editor-in-chief Scott Kelby on KLAY-AM (1180). Kelby will talk about his just-released book Macintosh…The Naked Truth. He will also reveal how being a Mac user affects everything from social situations to relationships with your family and coworkers. The witty and irreverent Kelby will also discuss what Apple doesnt tell users about owning a Mac and the Secret of Macintosh, why Apple has endured.
Also slated for the show is a discussion about Web site hosting with Doug Kaye, author of Strategies for Web Hosting and Managed Services.
Kaye will explain options available when selecting a Web hosting service and how to avoid lock-in.
Hosts Rob and Dana Greenlee will also explore a just released study saying the number of unique online ads rose 33 percent during the beginning of 2002, reaching a new high of nearly 70,000 unique ads online during April. The study, by Nielsen//NetRatings, is an early indicator about the resurrection of the Net.
The Webguys will also take a look at why more people listened to Internet radio stations the day after the May 1 Day of Silence protest organized by Internet radio broadcasters protesting proposed royalty rates.
