Tacoma residents are invited to participate in 12th x 12th, a walking tour of neighborhood gardens and yard sales within an area that spans North 12th Street to South 12th Street, from State Street to Union Avenue. The event is free, open to the public, and encourages people to beautify the neighborhood, plant flowers, and engage with their neighbors. 12th x 12th will be held on Sat., June 13, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Walking tour maps will be provided on the day of the event at Sonia’s Tacos, located at the corner of North Fife Street and 6th Avenue, and Grant Elementary School, located at 601 S. 8th St., in Tacoma.
