City Council members are scheduled April 15 to receive a briefing from the Human Rights and Human Services Department staff on the City’s proposed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) self-evaluation and transition plan. The plan is the result of a collaborative effort over the past year by many City departments and a series of community reviews. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16. Audio from the session will be broadcast live on TV Tacoma and on tvtacoma.com. On-demand audio archives are available on the Web within 24 hours of the meeting at http://www.tvtacoma.com .
