Applicants Sought for the Tacoma Area Commission on Disabilities

The Tacoma City Council is looking to fill four positions on the Tacoma Area Commission on Disabilities. Youth between the ages of 16 and 18 are encouraged to apply.

The Tacoma Area Commission on Disabilities is comprised of 11 volunteers from Tacoma and Pierce County with a variety of experiences and expertise. The Commission advises City Council in policy making, and partners with the community to bring awareness of issues that affect individuals with disabilities.   Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office by Oct. 9, 2016.
