In a modern take on this Shakespeare classic, Katherine Minola faces criticism and backlash from their family and neighbors because they do not adhere to the “traditional male view of femininity” and is known as the Shrew. Enter Petruchio, the “traditional male”, whose cocky nature leads him to believe he is the man who can make a traditional woman out of Katherine. Will he tame Katherine or will they tame him?
Auditions will be held at the Dukesbay Theatre on August 18th & 19th from 6:30pm-9:30pm with callbacks to follow on Wednesday the 21st from 6:30pm-8:30pm.
