Bank of America Northwest President John Rindlaub announced his retirement earlier this month, having served the company for 12 years.
Rindlaub joined Bank of America in 1989 as manager of the Asia Division. Based in Hong Kong, he was responsible for the banks wholesale investment banking and trading activities throughout Asia and Australia.
He moved to Seattle in 1993 to lead the Northwest region. He was named Northwest Commercial Banking executive in 2001.
Together, the Northwest region team has helped grow Bank of America into one of the worlds most dynamic and effective financial service corporations, Rindlaub said.
Now its time for me to spend more time enjoying the many amazing things about the Northwest, a place I dearly call home.
Rindlaub and his wife, Sarah, plan to remain in Seattle and continue their involvement in a variety of community activities.
