Join the Washington State Historical Society for a special farewell event celebrating the contributions and career of the Historical Society’s Director David Nicandri. After more than two decades at the helm of the Historical Society, Nicandri has announced his retirement. On Tues., Sept. 27, the Washington State Historical Society will honor him with a celebratory fund-raising dinner. Enjoy cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by dinner and personal testimonials from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged and cost $200 per person.
