On Fri., Feb. 25, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, at Pacific Lutheran University, Centro Latino and Pacific Lutheran University, in community partnership, will be presenting a seminar on reaching the Hispanic market in Pierce County. Topics include developing an effective marketing strategy focused on the Hispanic community, Hispanic media, demographics, and buying power.
Presenters include Rubicela Acosta, President, Hispanic America Group, a Hispanic market solution provider which assists clients such as World Vision, Bon Macys and Shurgard Storage to successfully realize their vision; Dr. Bruce Mann, Professor of Economics, University of Puget Sound, together with Professor Douglas Goodman he is responsible for the Pierce County Economic Index, a forecasting tool for the economy of the central Puget Sound region; and Nila Wiese, Assistant Professor of Marketing and International Business, University of Puget Sound, who has extensive experience training executives and small business owners and has consulted for small businesses in Central America and the State of Washington in the areas of strategic planning, customer service and product development.
