On Friday, May 18, the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber and Absher Construction will award the New Tacoma Awards for 2007. Join other business and community leaders in celebrating those individuals, groups and organizations nominated for these four awards:
1. Ghillarducci Award —
Recognizing successful new development, renovation or beautification
2. Popham Award — Recognizing the individual that has done the most to build community spirit
3. Union Station Award — Recognizing leading organizations, companies or individuals that have built or sustained momentum for revitalization
4. Schoenfeld Award — Recognizing exemplary performance (and pizzazz!) as a retailer
The event will be occur at The Tacoma Club, 1201 Pacific Ave, Suite 1601, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The price is $25 for members pre-paid, $30 for members at the door with reservations, and $35 non-members and at the door. Reservations made and not kept or cancelled 24 hours before the event will be billed as a “No Show.”
