The City Council has a budget workshop scheduled Nov. 24 from 4:30 until 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St. At the workshop, Council is scheduled to focus on the 2009-2014 Capital Facilities Plan, the Six-Year Transportation Program, and Wastewater/Stormwater and Solid Waste Rate Adjustments. The audio and video portions of the workshop will be broadcast live on TV Tacoma channel 12 on Click! in Tacoma, Fircrest, Lakewood, Fife and Pierce County and on channel 21 in University Place. Archived video from each budget session should be available on the TV Tacoma Web site within 24 hours of the meetings at http://www.tvtacoma.com .
