City Manager Eric Anderson is scheduled during the Aug. 9 study session to offer the City Council his definition of the City of Tacomas budget problem to be addressed in the mid-biennial budget adjustments before the end of 2005, as well as potential solutions to address the budget issues. The public may attend the noon study session in the Council Chambers, Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., but the Council will not take public comment. The study session will be shown live on TV Tacoma, Channel 12, and the audio portion will be broadcast on City Post on Channel 77 on Comcast and Channel 85 on Click! The presentation materials will also be available on the Online Newsroom, http://www.cityoftacoma.org/tacomanews.
The study session will be rebroadcast Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. and Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. on TV Tacoma, and the audio will be replayed on CityPost Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. The replay will also be available for on demand viewing on the TV Tacoma Web site, www.tvtacoma.com, by noon on Aug. 10.
