Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Lincoln Project Office at 750-C South 38th Street on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Bidders are encouraged to attend. Project Scope: The South 38th Streetscape project improves infrastructure in the Lincoln Business District on South 38th Street from South J Street to South Fawcett Street, and South Yakima and South G Streets from South 37th to South 38th Streets. The project generally includes replacing storm water, sanitary sewer, and water lines, new concrete sidewalks and street sections, ADA compliant curb ramps, crosswalks, landscaping and sidewalk furniture, asphalt pavement grind and overlay, and traffic signal and streetlight improvements. Estimate: $5,000,000 to $5,800,000 Paid Leave and Minimum Wage: Effective February 1, 2016, the City of Tacoma requires all employers to provide paid leave and minimum wages, as set forth in Title 18 of the Tacoma Municipal Code.
