Submittal Opening: Sealed submittals in response to a RFB will be opened by a Purchasing representative and read aloud during a public bid opening held in Conference Room M-1, located on the main floor in the same building. Submittals in response to an RFP or RFQ are recorded as received but are not typically opened and read aloud. Scope: The City of Tacoma, Information Technology Department intends to purchase a premise-based Call Accounting System (CAS) to poll and collect raw data for inbound and outbound calls and within the voice network. The CAS will be used to: * Poll, track and chargeback long distance calls * Provide call summary and detail reports for monitoring and/or analyzing trends and, * Respond to Public Disclosure Requests (PDRs) Estimate: $50,000 SAP Ariba Registration: The City of Tacoma is transitioning to SAP Ariba for its procurement processes. SAP Ariba is an ecommerce website that facilitates procurement. It streamlines buyers and sellers ability to connect and find each other. Registration information is attached to this discovery posting. In order to view a complete set of solicitation documents for the above referenced solicitation, suppliers must respond as interested to the discovery posting and be registered in SAP Ariba with the City of Tacoma in order to participate in the event. The deadline for showing interest and registration is March 7, 2017. Vendors who do not meet the registration deadline will not be allowed to participate in the solicitation process.
