Local residents are invited to attend the City of Tacoma’s City Services Expo in May.

The event is part of an ongoing effort to raise community awareness about the services delivered by the various departments at the City of Tacoma, educate the community about how city government works, and offer an opportunity for community members to share ideas and feedback about how the City of Tacoma should utilize its resources. The free, family-friendly City Services Expo will feature demonstrations, games, prizes, and a range of interactive activities, such as seeing a fire truck up close, talking to a police officer about making neighborhoods more secure, learning more about streets operations through a hands-on activity, and finding out about the many other services the City of Tacoma offers.

The City of Tacoma’s City Services Expo will be held on Sat., May 7, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., at the Tacoma Dome, located at 2727 E. D St., in Tacoma.
