The City of Tacoma’s Community and Economic Development will offer a workshop as a part of its Economic Gardening program called “Buying for Your Best Customers” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 or 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 30 at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., Room 708.

These two free sessions are intended for retailers, shop owners, buyers for independent stores and owners of service businesses.

The workshops will focus on understanding your market; organizing your buying strategy; promoting your inventory to your best customers; and using available and reliable resources.

Presentations will be offered by Kala Dralle, Community and Economic Development Department and Les Barnett, Tina Janni and Judae Bost’n, Bates Business Management Training.
