City of Tacoma administrative offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 3, in recognition of Labor Day. Garbage, recycling and yard waste collection are not affected by the holiday, so collection will be on the normal schedule. The City of Tacoma landfill, recycling center and household hazardous waste facility will be open regular hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
